We’ve fallen head over heels in love with these puppies. If we could keep them all, we absolutely would, but since we can’t, we’re excited to share this joy with their new families.
If you knew the amount of time, effort, and expense that has gone into preparing and caring for these pups you'd think we're insane. You might just be right but the joy they bring us is indescribable!
Testing:
Both the grandparents and parents of this litter have been thoroughly health and DNA tested, and we have trusted EmbarkVet.com for our testing.
Pricing:
We arrived at the pup pricing through online research that included scouring sites such as "puppyspot.com". At the site search for "bernedoodle" to get a feel for pricing. We used this type info coupled with suggestions from our highly experienced breeder friend to determine the pricing. That being said, our number one priority is finding a dog obsessed, ultra loving home for each of these pups...a home where they will be doted on and loved on incessantly. Obsessively? Yes, that too. Getting the going rate price for them is desirable but secondary.
Backstory:
This journey started with the breeding of the puppy's grandmother, our beloved Bernese Mountain Dog named Vai. Vai is so super special with a fantastic, sweet disposition, so much so that we wanted to "clone" her. We opted to breed her with a poodle for the qualities of reduced shedding and increased lifespan which you get from the poodle part of the combination. Vai's breeding included selecting a high-quality donor, timing inseminations perfectly with the help of numerous vet-administered progesterone tests, and using Transcervical Insemination (or TCI) for the actual insemination. Vai's first litter resulted in only ONE singleton puppy. Her sweet singleton, Medli, has been such a fun addition to our family and she has made a wonderful mother to these 9 adorable babies. Grandma Vai steps in to give the babies lovin too, which is one of the most adorable things I've ever seen!
